Principal's Message...

I am Anne Gipson Behel, Principal of Forest Hills Elementary.  Thank you for visiting our website.   Forest Hills is a K-4 elementary school with approximately 800 students.  We have just completed a new gymnatorium and will undergo construction on a new cafeteria and office wing during the 2010-2011 school year.  Forest Hills is a wonderful school and we strive daily to provide an optimal learning environment for students.   We take great pride in setting high expectations for all students academically and behaviorally.   Our exemplary physical education, art, and music departments complete the educational experience for our students.

We encourage and welcome parent participation and our students benefit greatly from the tremendous support our school receives from parents and the community.  Without these support systems in place, many of the extra and fun educational activities we offer would not be possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of any assistance to you.  We are committed at Forest Hills to providing “5 Star Service” to our students, parents, and the community.  We consider it a great honor that so many families have entrusted their children to us.   We will work hard daily to meet and exceed your expectations.

Sincerely,

Anne Gipson Behel

And from the Assistant Principal...

Hi, my name is Chris Pepper, and I am the Assistant Principal at Forest Hills School.  The Principals, Faculty, and Staff at Forest Hills want to work with you to help your child(ren) be successful as they work and learn in a safe environment.  Expectations are set very high at Forest Hills-first for school staff, then for students and parents/guardians.

Ideas and opinions are respected at our school, and we strive to build/nurture trust among our families.  We will develop a problem solving approach to tackle any obstacle that arises in your child's education.  Many of our staff members have children enrolled at Forest Hills, including my daughter who will be in first grade.

Thank you for choosing to send your child to Forest Hills.  Ms. Gipson and I have an open-door policy.  Call or stop by when needed.

Sincerely,

Chris Pepper
Assistant Principal
